The “Fusion” furnaceis ideal for creative art purposes, laboratories, colleges, universities, engineering societies, or as an exciting hobby for model engineers. We can supply all the necessary equipment for small scale foundry work, including moulding boxes, moulding sand, tools, etc. and we can also provide all essential safety equipment.

Maximum capacity 18Kg brass, 6Kg aluminium

Various capacity crucibles available

Octaganol steel casing with sliding top cover and frame

Lined with low thermal mass, high temperature 1400 degrees centigrade brickwork, with ceramic fibre insulation.

Lifting out crucible to be placed into carrying shank for casting

Fired by propane burner on adjustable bracket. Burner complete with flame failure valve, thermocouple, regulator and pressure gauge, along with metallic covered hose.

Natural draught suitable formetals up to 1000 degrees centigrade

For higher temperature up to 1200 degrees centigrade: supplied forced draught, fitted with a fully automatic oil, gas or LPG burner, with spark ignition, flame failure motorised f an. Very low noise, operated by 13 amp single phase electric supply
