Scope of supply All Models:

  • Steel fabricated casing designed with side flue afterburner and manual counterbalanced charging door. Including flue damper, cast iron tapping spout, tapping bar and standard 1200 mm long pouring launder. NB. Tapping system uses replaceable ceramic tapping cones (not included)
  • Furnace is supplied fully bricked at our works. Door and first section of chimney lined with castable.
  • Fired by two packaged oil burners with spark ignition and flame failure. One burner for the melting chamber; second burner firing side flue afterburner. Burners on off manual control on sliding bracket. Electric supply Single Phase 220v 50Hz.
  • Including a chimney supplied in two sections. First section refractory lined.
  • Furnace and chimney is painted in heat resistant aluminium paint.
  • Price includes loading onto buyers transport
Colt
  • Instructions for assembly and commissioning are issued with manual of burners. Buyer is responsible for assembly, installation and connecting electric and oil supplies to each furnace burner. Services of a commissioning engineer are available at extra cost.

Monitoring control compliant with E.F.A Guidance Notes PC/Act 1999 and amended regulation 2000

Temperature Management Panel and Interlock

  • Pre wired control panel with mains isolator to operate both melting burner and afterburner with status lights
  • Ttemperature indication instrument showing temperature of afterburner
  • Thermocouple with stainless steel sheath installed in chimney afterburner
  • Process interlock so that furnace chamber melting burner cannot operate until the afterburner is at a temperature of 850°C
